a(MDÆ)2: A Model Driven Approach to Multi-Dimensional Separation of Concerns with OCL
نویسندگان
چکیده
A typical activity in the object-oriented software engineering process involves the construction of a class structure in terms of which the system behaviour is to be specified. The behaviour, however, commonly consists of multiple tasks, each of which usually needs only part of the information available in that class structure. Additionally, a different representation of the required information may be appropriate. Therefore, it would be useful to be able to have multiple views on the global class structure, each being suitable for the specification of the behaviour related to a certain task. This paper introduces a(MDÆ), a technique to realise such a strategy. It incorporates OCL as a powerful query language and advocates a model driven development process which relieves the developer from the burden of manually writing a considerable amount of tedious and error-prone code.

BAS: A Case Study for Modeling and Verification in Trustable Model Driven Development
Multi-view modeling and separation of concerns are widely used to decrease the design complexity of the large-scale software system. To ensure the correctness and consistency of multi-view requirement models, the formal verification technology should be applied to the model-driven development process. However, there still lacks unified theory foundation and tool supports for the rigorous modeli...
متن کاملAutomatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach
Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...
متن کاملA Multi-Dimensional, Model-Driven Approach to Concern Identification and Traceability
1. Introduction The separation of concerns principle [3], i.e., modularising concerns so that they may be realised and reasoned about in isolation, is a fundamental principle in software engineering. Recent years have seen increasing interest in aspect-oriented software development (AOSD) techniques [1, 4]. These focus on treatment of crosscutting concerns, i.e., concerns of a broadly scoped na...
متن کاملSupporting Aspects in Mda
For developing large and complex applications, industrial practice uses a combination of nonformal notations and methods. Different notations are used to specify the properties of different aspects of an application and these specifications are transformed into their corresponding implementations through the steps of a development process. The development process relies heavily on manual verifi...
متن کاملA New Nonlinear Multi-objective Redundancy Allocation Model with the Choice of Redundancy Strategy Solved by the Compromise Programming Approach
One of the primary concerns in any system design problem is to prepare a highly reliable system with minimum cost. One way to increase the reliability of systems is to use redundancy in different forms such as active or standby. In this paper, a new nonlinear multi- objective integer programming model with the choice of redundancy strategy and component type is developed where standby strategy ...
